Those of you who didn't go to Scotland in the summer and have not kept up with the news might not know that the British team did brilliantly in the Classic, Short and Relay races.
Congratulations must go to SYO members Jenny James, Dave Peel, Jamie Stevenson and Helen Hargreaves who were such a large part of the British squad. Well done.

There are still a few of the new T-shirts available. They are long sleeved and are navy blue and printed in yellow front and back. Available in medium and large only they are obtainable from Hilary Bloor at a subsidised cost of £4.

SYO's AGM will be held on Monday 25th October 1999 starting at 7.30pm at the Red Deer, Pitt Street, Sheffield.
Nominations for officers or other members of the committee must be submitted to the Secretary 14 days before the meeting (October 12th). The nominations received will be included in the notice of the meeting. Nominations will be accepted at the meeting if there is an insufficiency of written nominations by the due date to fill any vacancies.
Any resolution proposing changes to the constitution should be submitted in writing to the Secretary 14 days before the meeting (October 13th). Resolutions received will be included in the notice of the meeting.
