It's no surprise that a fair proportion of Prisoners have turned up in Neighbours
- they are/were both filmed at the same studios at Nunawading near Melbourne.
The studio building even made an appearance as the Student Union building that
Stonefish and Catherine abseiled down, and was seen in the background more recently
when Harold and Madge have been at their allotments. The fictitious road that
runs along the end of Ramsay Street is called Wentworth Road - a tribute to
Prisoner perhaps!
Recent UK sightings include the returns of both Chris Milne and Alethea
McGrath as different characters, and (I think!) Dawn Klingberg as a non-speaking
and non-credited member of the ladies art group that Declan Hewitt (Chris
Milne) is talking to when he is tricked. Bob Halsall must be breaking records now - three different characters in the space of just over a year - WOW.
I'm Harold's First Wife! - Interview with Ann Phelan.
Daddy Dearest! - Michael Carman plays Annalise's father in Neighbours.
A tale of two Cheryls! - Caroline Gillmer temporarily replaced by Colette Mann in Neighbours.
I'm so sad to be leaving - Lesley Baker leaves Ramsay Street.
You've got to laugh ... - Interview with Ann Charleston.
Farewell Helen - Anne Haddy leaves Neighbours due to illness.
