Joy Westmore

Australia, 1987, (Very bad) Film

At the special request of David Miller, this film is included before I've got as far as the credits because it features the lovely Joy Westmore as Les Patterson's wife. I am only managing to watch this film in 5 minute blocks as it is so excruciatingly bad I can only watch for that long before having to go away and recover. It may be some time before the rest of the spottings appear here!

Sigrid Thornton

Australia, Film, 1987

Another one of a crop of rather good Australian war films. There are many spottings to be had in this film, but most are in the minor characters. Sigrid Thornton is a nurse that our main character (played by Sons & Daughters' Peter Phelps) falls for, while many others - Anthony Hawkins, Serge Lazareff, Nick Waters etc are soldiers. Steve Bastoni and Gerard Kennedy form part of the Turkish opposition - OK hands up those who think it wasn't actually shot in Turkey .....
