Q&A GETS PERSONAL WITH NEIGHBOURS' JACKIE WOODBURNE

Are you from a large family? My mum and dad, Jo and Jim, and I have two elder brothers, John, who is a policeman, and Steven, who is a primary school headmaster. He laughs about the things that happen to Susan, but he understands that it is TV.
Where were you brought up? I was born in Belfast, but my family moved to Melbourne when I was three. My mother is English and has a strange mixed accent, and my dad and brothers have very strong Irish accents, I kept my Irish accent, but I can switch it on and off.
What would you be doing if you weren't an actress? God knows! I honestly can't imagine doing anything else.
What did your school reports say? They always said things like, ' Jackie is doing very well but is easily distracted.'
Can you remember your first kiss? Vividly. It was during a game of spin the bottle, and I must have been about 14. It was very dry-lipped, closed-mouthed and lasted about three seconds!
What was your first ever job? I was really lucky because I auditioned for a leading role in a big mini-series when I was in my last year of drama school and got the part. I was very bad in it, but thankfully no-one remembers it.
Do you have any hidden talents? Well, if I do, even I don't know about them!
What possession would you save if your house was on fire? I don't think I'd stop to pick up anything! I'd just get the hell out of there!
Who's your best friend? I can't say without offending at least five people!
What quality do you most admire in others? A generous spirit, positive people who never slag anyone off.
What quality do you most admire in yourself? Oh, gee... I think I've got a pretty good sense of humour.
If you were a cartoon character, which would it be? Spider-Man. He wears the best costume!
What would your ideal romantic day be? What an awful question! Erm, anything that didn't involve manual labour!
Which other soap character would you like to play? I don't watch telly enough to think of anyone in particular, but someone evil may be fun.
What would you most like to change about yourself? To be more patient.
