Not Past Their Cell-By Date

Cell Block H was home to more beasts than beauties - but it was the opposite case when Prisoner stars formed a panel on game show Beauty and the Beast.

Recently, Maggie Kirkpatrick (The Freak), Val Lehman (Top Dog Bea Smith), Jane Clifton (Margo) and Paula Duncan (Lorelei) ditched their gloomy Wentworth uniforms for glitz and glamour - and proved that, ten years later, they look better than ever!

"It's terrific catching up with everyone," says Val, who has spent many of the subsequent years on the UK stage. "I'm glad to be home."

The reunion special will air on Aussie TV mid-year, to coincide with the screening of Prisoner reruns on Pay TV. This has sparked yet another rumour that the cult show couuld be revived for a 90s audience.
