of the Flying Doctors as Vic Buckley, although it took some plot engineering to
move him and Nancy to the city for the final season. Appeared in Cry in the Dark
as the Alice Springs judge, Barrett, and his final appearance was as Syd, the
old man who lived in the bus in Neighbours. Was also a stand-up comedian and variety
star. Died in December 1995.

Appeared in Mad Max in 1978 as a gun-toting granny. Guested in
the first series of Round the Twist in 1990 as Madame Fortune, a
mystic who gives Peter Twist a lipstick that will make all women
want to kiss him. Was in the 1990/1 film Nirvana Street Murder as
old lady Molly. Died in October 1991, six months after finishing
filming the excellent 'A Woman's Tale' and a few days after receiving
the AFI Best Actress award. The director Paul Cox thought that the
film had inspired her to live for a few extra months.

Lou's date after a dinner party, and even more recently was a customer
at Lou's garage - part of the strange Neighbours re-casting spate
that seems to be going on.
