Monday's Child

Tessa finds this poem on the wall of Fairview House in the episode 'Deadline', in the museum where all the victims had visited on the same day, and uses it to form the basis of her enquiries. It is not known who wrote it.

"Monday's child is fair of face,
Tuesday's child is full of grace,
Wednesday's child is full of woe,
Thursday's child has far to go;
Friday's child is loving and giving,
Saturday's child works hard for a living,
But the child that is born on the Sabbath-day
Is bonny and blithe, good and gay."

Believe it or not, there have actually been surveys done to find out if any of it is true! The Van Morrison song Friday's Child is also believed to come from this poem - he WAS born on a Friday.
