Glenda Linscott was born in the UK, but came out to Australia in the 1960s with her family. She graduated from NIDA in the late 70s. She is married with a son.
Glenda Linscott plays Dr Imogen 'Tootsie' Soames in Murder Call.
She is probably most recognisable for her role as Rita Connors in Prisoner (Cell Block H), which she starred in for 18 months from the age of 27. She also appeared in the British stage version of the show, which toured Britain in the late 80s and early 90s.
Her film appearances include The Howling III: The Marsupials (1987) as the werewolf Bahloo - dressed as a nun (don't ask ...), and Back of Beyond (1995) as Mary Margaret with Murder Call guest star Paul Mercurio, to whom she gives some friendly advice.
Television appearances include a guest spot behind Cookie's bar in A Country Practice and an episode of the British TV Series Soldier Soldier as Betty Palmer, the postmistress in a town that is destroyed by hurricanes. She has also appeared in the children's series Big Ideas and the drama Cowra Breakout.
Apart from these TV and film appearances, most of her time has been spent on the stage, both in the UK and Australia.
